Modified Atmosphere Packaging

Modified Atmosphere Packaging is an effective method for prolonging the shelf life of packaged food.

The current food market means that packaged products needs to have the longest possible shelf life, and Modified Atmosphere Packaging allows manufacturers to supply their perishable goods to retailers with the most advantageous use-by/sell-by date. The scientific processes used by CELABOR create the perfect design for mixing gases specifically for each type of food, and this method can be applied to any plastic packaging that is created by an external manufacturer. The airtight nature of the sealing process makes the internal environment virtually impermeable by external conditions, and there are also variations that allow the internal atmosphere to react with its surroundings if the contents will benefit from it.
