Biochemical Oxygen Demand

The government of the Walloon Region recognises the efforts carried out by CELABOR to monitor levels of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD).

Alongside the recognition that has been received from educational institutions, CELABOR scientists have also won praise from the local government of the Walloon region of Belgium. Environmental Officials have now authorised CELABOR as a provider of waste management analysis services for businesses, and a major factor of this involves the assessment of Biochemical Oxygen Demand. When scientists are on-site, they can provide localised readings of BOD that indicate the amount of waste matter that is present. This is particularly useful for businesses that need to limit their waste output to comply with local laws and regulations.
